Access

TREDIS can report on economic impacts beyond those spending and travel efficiency. The Access modules leverage additional user inputs to estimate economic impacts from two other major sources.

These are separate from economic impacts stemming from spending (as entered on the Costs page) and travel improvements (entered on the Travel page). Click on the page name to jump to that section.

  • Intercity Access. The Intercity Access module estimates how improvements in access on a county level can have economic impacts.

  • Contingent Development. The Contingent Development module is for situations where new economic activity is contingent on a project being built, and the Project alternative should reflect the economic impacts of that activity.
